Village Managers win big at Property Council Awards
Bolton Clarke Rowes Bay retirement village manager Stephen Pether has been crowned 2024 Programmed Queensland Village Manager of the Year at a Property Council of Queensland event.
Mr Pether will now go into the running for the national Programmed Award for Village Manager of the Year, to be announced in June.
He credited his win to residents in the Rowes Bay village.
“It’s all about the residents – we have a great village and I have no doubt there will be a party when I get back,” he said.
Long time Rowes Bay Retirement Village resident Melanie Pascoe says that all the residents are extremely proud to see Stephen take out the top spot.
“We are so proud of our Manager Stephen Pether winning Retirement Village Manager of the year, it’s an award that is so thoroughly deserved,” she said.
“Stephen makes living in our village a great joy, we all love him!”
Retirement Living Council Executive Director Daniel Gannon said the awards recognised the best of the best.
“It is important to celebrate these wonderful people who power this sector forward every day, while showcasing industry’s commitment to customers, excellence and innovation,” he said.
Bolton Clarke sales manager Liz Semionov was also honoured as winner of the Queensland Sales Manager of the Year.
Ms Semionov will also be in the running for a national award in June.
