Update on FNQ severe weather
18 December 2023
An update for family and friends of Cairns clients and residents.
Our teams are well-prepared for severe weather events and remain focused on the safety and wellbeing of our clients, residents and employees.
At our Farnorha home residents remain comfortable and we have power, water and food on site, with the back-up generator in use.
We will continue to update families directly and are working closely with emergency services.
Our At Home Support teams are working to emergency plans and have undertaken welfare calls with all clients.
We are working to resume regular services as soon as it is safe to do so, in consultation with emergency services.
Families who would like more information can call our National Service Centre on 1300 22 11 22.
