There’s something in the air at Breezes

When Sharon and her husband Charlie decided to sell their family house and move to Bolton Clarke Breezes retirement village, they did not expect to feel at home so quickly.

“I was worried about the feeling of the unknown but within a week we felt so comfortable here,” Sharon says.

“Everybody is so positive, and we are extremely happy!”

Sharon says that they had never thought about moving into a retirement village, but one visit to a friend at her home in the Breezes community changed everything.

“Charlie turned to me and said, ‘I want to live here, I really think this is fantastic’. I was shocked because I never thought in a million years that he would want to move,” she says.

“I called Jules, the sales manager, the next day and she showed us one of the homes that was available. She is so positive and welcoming, and the home ticked all the boxes, everything about it was beautiful.

“Brad, the Village Manager, is fabulous too. There is just such a nice atmosphere about the place.”

For Sharon, her favourite things about the Village are having all the worries of being a homeowner removed and feeling part of a supportive community.

“You can stand back from your worries that you have normally; you know you are safe, and people are looking out for you.”

“That, and the pool, because I love being in the water. We get together there on a Friday, which is when we have happy hour, that’s really nice.

“There’s always something on. Even if you never left the complex, there’s more than enough to do here!”
