High Teas sweet enough for seniors Australia-wide
Seventy Allity and Bolton Clarke residential aged care communities dished out a delicious spread of Hors d’Oeuvres and cake on their finest China as part of International Day of Older Persons, Queensland Seniors Month and Victorian Seniors Festival celebrations in October.
The high tea events kicked-off from International Day of Older Persons (October 1) to pay tribute to the important role older Australians continue play within our communities.
Hundreds of residents in Bolton Clarke homes (including Allity homes, now part of Bolton Clarke Group) donned their finest and tipped a tea cup from Camberwell in Victoria to Far North Queensland.
Residents enjoyed a stunning exhibition of sweet and savoury treats set against the backdrop of themes like the Madhatter’s Tea Party.
The Nationwide Annual High Tea began in Allity homes in 2015 and has now been adopted across the Group.
Residents are encouraged to invite family and friends to be a part of the celebrations.
