Europa on Alma recognised for innovation in retirement living

Bolton Clarke’s Europa on Alma retirement village has been recognised for design quality and innovation at the Victorian Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) Awards.

The five-level village, located at St Kilda, received a Commendation in the Special Purpose Living Award category which recognises senior living developments that present a high standard of overall design, create a sense of place, and have regard for an energy and water efficient lifestyle.

Europa on Alma has also been named a finalist in the National Retirement Living Awards Tunstall Healthcare Award for Best Luxury Retirement Living Development and Best Retirement Living Development categories.

Featuring 81 contemporary one, two and three-bedrooms apartments, Europa on Alma offers a new and innovative living option for Melbourne residents that centres around health, wellbeing and community.

All apartments incorporate Livable Housing Australia design standards which support ageing in place, with open plan living spaces, wide corridors, walk-in showers and push-to-open drawers in the kitchen.

Residents also have access to a range of shared spaces designed for activities, hobbies and social connection, including a senior-specific gym, artists’ studio, cinema, library, and rooftop deck with views of the bayside area.

A full concierge service assists with residents’ day-to-day needs, while an at home support hub on the ground floor provides more options to access personalised clinical care and home support services if needed.
