Whether you are experiencing difficulty with everyday tasks or recovering from a fall or illness, Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC) can help you manage and improve your overall wellbeing as your needs change.
Designed to help you stay at home longer and defer the need for ongoing support or higher levels of care, we offer a wide selection of care options to help you recover quickly and maintain your independence.
Short-Term Restorative Care is delivered through an 8-week program, personalised to suit your individual needs. We work with you to develop an activities and exercise plan that will help you achieve your goals, with access to specialised equipment and support from a team of health care professionals.
Services include:
Short-Term Restorative Care is suitable for people experiencing functional decline or a loss of ability to carry out daily living activities.
People who are currently on a Home Care Package or have had a recent hospital admission are not eligible for this program.
The care and services provided through the Short-Term Restorative Care program are funded by the Australian Government.
You may choose to add additional services to the program. If required, we can also help you transition to ongoing care including a Home Care Package.
Speak with your doctor about a referral to the program.
We can help you arrange an Aged Care assessment or you can contact myagedcare.gov.au directly on 1800 200 422.
